World War III

KMFDM has been around the circuit for longer those most, founded in Paris, France on February 29, 1984 as a joint effort between Sasha Konietzko and German painter/multi-media performer Udo Sturm to perform for the opening of an exhibition of young European artists at the Grand Palaisbut with this record reinvents itself as one of the ultimate slamming industrial dance brigades ever to release a full length CD. Here we have the "take no prisoners" 2003 smash—World War III—off its megablast CD of the same name.

Current band membership includes Sascha Konietzko, his wife Lucia Cifarelli, Jules Hodgson, Steve White, and Andy Selway.

{ Lyrics: World War III by KMFDM }

I declare war on the world
War in outer space
I declare war in a nutshell
War all over the place

I declare war on every government
War against all odds
I declare war on your inner sanctum
On your bloodthirsty gods

War on the axis of morons
All out war on complacent consent
I declare war on the war against drugs
Rape and slaughter of the innocent

War on Big Brother
Warmongers and profiteers
War on your Dogma Dubya
Armageddon's engineers

War in a heartbeat
I declare war on so-called civilization
World trade globalization
Organized desinformation

War on ambassadors of pretense
War on MTV and CCN
Macdonald's Walt Disney and Bethlehem
On Christina Britney and Eminem

I declare war on the world of anti-choice
On violent unilaterality
On the amassment of
murderous high-tech toys
And all crimes against humanity

War on the moral majority
On corporate.com imperialism
On mindlessly bumbling stupidity
And police-state terrorism

World War Three - be all that you can be

Oxyacetylene

Cubanate blows past us with Oxyacetylene.

You move into my line of fire
Move into my line of fire
I need to know
I need to see you
Move into my line of fire

I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make you pay
I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make your beauty
On my skin like oxyacetylene
Steel yourself for me

The weathers cold the news is grim
I'm under pressure
I won't give in
There's blood on the windows
And ice on the sheets
You better steel yourself give in

I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make you pay
I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make your beauty
On my skin like oxyacetylene
Steel yourself for me

Your little hands reaching high
Your little hands reach for the sky

I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make you pay
I'm gonna break you
I'm gonna make your beauty
On my skin like oxyacetylene
Give in

Franco Un-American

More from the Fat Wreck crew of NoFX.

I never thought about the universe, it made me feel small
Never thought about the problems of this planet at all
Global warming, radio-active sites
Imperialistic wrongs and animal rights! No!

Why think of all the bad things when life is so good?
Why help with an 'am' when there's always a 'could'?
Let the whales worry about the poisons in the sea
Outside of California, it's foreign policy

I don't want changes, I have no reactions
Your dilemmas are my distractions

That's no way to go, Franco Un-American
No way to go, Franco Un-American
No way to go, Franco Un-American
No way to go, Franco, Franco Un-American

I never looked around, never second-guessed
Then I read some Howard Zinn now I'm always depressed
And now I can't sleep from years of apathy
All because I read a little Noam Chomsky

I'm eating vegetation, 'cause of Fast Food Nation
I'm wearing uncomfortable shoes 'cause of globalization
I'm watching Michael Moore expose the awful truth
I'm listening to Public Enemy and Reagan Youth

I see no world peace 'cause of zealous armed forces
I eat no breath-mints 'cause they're from de-hoofed horses
Now I can't believe; what an absolute failure
The president's laughing 'cause we voted for Nader

That's no way to go, Franco Un-American
No way to go, Franco Un-American
No way to go, Franco Un-American
Where can we go, Franco Un-American

I want to move north and be a Canadian
Or hang down low with the nice Australians
I don't want to be another "I-don't-care"-ican
What are we gonna do Franco, Franco Un-American
