Apoptygma Berzerk beats out another anthem that just won't quit once it gets in the head. Love Never Dies, Part 1 was originally recorded for the 1996 CD entitled 7.
[ Lyrics: Love Never Dies, Part 1, Apoptygma Berzerk ]
Forever in your arms, you said, forever in my heart My love for you will make us both climb higher Driven by the power that is burning in our hearts You know my faith in you will keep us together
Forever in your arms you said, forever in my heart My love for you will make us both climb higher I sense your presence in this room, I feel that you are near You hold me close and whisper, "Love is forever"
Unicorn is another amzingly tricked out but very clean melody by Norway's Apoptygma Berzerk off the 2002 Harmonizer CD.
[ Lyrics: Unicorn by Apoptygma Berzerk ]
You hold the candle I once lit You shine your light When you forgive I cry You run your fingers through my hair And tell me it's worthwhile, it's all worthwhile
Even when I hate myself Even when I feel your pain when you cry Even when my heart is cold You assure me it's worthwhile, it´s all worthwhile
You see what can't be seen You repair the damage done to me..
A delightfully upbeat electronic steamer from Apoptygma Berzerk off the equally bottomless Harmonizer CD released in 2002. Thee are few if any weak notes on this eleven song production. If you have any sensitivity to the electronica genre (and thus are not a cynical and jaded metal head), I predict you and nearly anyone you lends an ear will find the sublimely uplifting sounds from this Norwegian group a very pleasant experience.
[ Lyrics: Until The End of the World ]
I'll wait for you until the end of the world
All the weights that keep me down Seem heavier than before They hit me in my face Though you feel nothing
Only time will heal you say Your word's not therapy That half of me is gone My dearest treasure torn away
I'll stick with you until the end of the world I cry out loud but you hear nothing I'll wait for you until the end of the world My dearest treasure torn away
All the weights that keep me down Seem heavier than before They hit me in my face Though you feel nothing
Only time will heal you say Your word's not therapy That half of me is gone My dearest treasure torn away
I'll stick with you until the end of the world I cry out loud but you hear nothing I'll wait for you until the end of the world That half of me is gone, my dearest treasure torn away
I'll stick with you until the end of the world I cry out loud but you hear nothing I'll wait for you until the end of the world My dearest treasure torn away
Crank up our online radio station, now broadcasting 24-7-365.
Over 650 riffs in continuous play with generous rotation quotas every week. That's over 40 hours of
no-repeat, choice listening. Visceral punk, facetious rock, splattered word, lovely melodies, anthems,
ballads, and shades of other raw underbelly stuff you wouldn't want the goon squads of whatever
stripe to know you crave. Radio Scenewash spans the rock spectrum. If you like your radio to punch out
the same sound song after song, avoid the SWORG. Boasting some 8000 plus tracks in our archives,
we mix hardcore with spoken word material drawn from the 1920s forward. The battleground of religious,
political, and social angst is on parade. War is in our midst. The bulk of airplay is devoted to 1980s proto
punk and its older siblings, where melody and beat meets lyric, history meets timelessness, and
new classics crystallize with every juxtaposition. Mixing it up to mimic the thrash and bromide
of the REAL WORLD in conflict and resolve, thus mirroring the stoneground soundtrack stomping
through the blood-washed stalls of my own bittersweet head.
